Hi Kevin: I have been friends with Maria Elena for years and she is a nice person. I think some people tend to believe rumors. If they knew her, they would love her. She's a real doll. Thanks for doing that interview. My mom was ill at the time or I would have been with her in Clear Lake.

Just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for bring awareness to Teens Aging out of foster care and homeless youth. You have great influence and you can bring much needed attention to this topic. I aged out of the Tennessee system in ’98 when I was 21. Normally a foster kid is hardwired to keep quiet and their head down for fear of being judged or of shame. Sad stories are a dime a dozen it is what you do with your story that matters. Your past makes you who you are but it does not define you. Society need to hear about foster care and the children who despite the challenges and adversities of their childhoods grew up to become productive members of society.

Hi Kevin
Thanks for writing a little about your formative years - really interesting. I think your dad Bob is a briliant songwriter and love all the songs he sang with Buddy Holly who is my particular favourite. Hey - but I like your music too - I hadn't realised you'd wriiten so many stunning numbers for other recording artists. I hooked up with your videos on youtube a little while back and enjoyed your more recent postings along with your collaboration with Tommy Allsup on the old Holly/Montgomery (or should that be Montgomery/Holly) numbers. Great stuff man. Well Kevin, I live in the south of England about 35 miles straight west of London. Provided the weather is okay then I'll be driving the 450 or so miles up to Scotland Christmas Eve to visit some of my grandchildren. I hope to get over to your Glasgow show on 29th December.
